She is no other than Mrs. Cecilia Oguntoba, the Mother in Law of Sola Ojewusi, Publisher of The Lagosian Magazine and Founder of the Pride of Nigeria Awards.
This iconic matriarch was born to the family of Mr. and Mrs. Akinwande Alagbara on this day seventy years ago in Supare, Ondo State.
A scion of the Alagbara dynasty, the young Mama Cecilia was fed with the spoon of modesty and drank from the streams of beauteous grace. Her growing days were marked by the discipline, appreciable sense of dignity and honesty. This accounts for her remarkable personae, warmth, and caring nature.
Mama Oguntoba, a trained teacher contributed meaningfully to the academic development of her students and retired at the required age with good records.
As she joins the Septuagenarian Club today, it is our heartfelt prayer that the good Lord will favour her with the good things of life more abundantly.
As we are all joyous in celebrating her on this glorious day, we pray the Heavenly father to grant her more years of service to humanity in good health and abundant grace.
