At the rate at which the Chairman and her Medical Crew are working on Healthcare, Agboyi-Ketu will end up as the healthiest Local Council in Nigeria if the records are properly taken and analyzed!
Exactly a month ago, Hon. Abubakar played host to the Taiwan Root Medical Peace Corps; an International NGO for free medical services, as facilitated by Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, Chief of Staff to the President. Citizens of Agboyi-Ketu are still in the euphoria of this far-reaching medical outreach when another 3-day bumper outreach lands once again in their domain!
November 4 to 6, 2025, a mega free medical outreach was sponsored and executed locally by the Health Services Department of the Agboyi-Ketu LCDA under the leadership of Hon. Adetola Adunni Abubakar. The medical outreach was carried out for 3 days and at 3 well-distributed locations within Agboyi-Ketu. These locations are:
DAY 1: Agboyi-Ketu LCDA Headquarters
DAY 2: Ketu Primary Healthcare Centre, Akintan Street
DAY 3: Alapere Primary Healthcare Centre on Akinyemi Street
In her opening speech on Day 1 at the Council Headquarters, the Chairman assured residents of Agboyi-Ketu that no stone will be left unturned to ensure that every citizen of Agboyi-Ketu LCDA feels the impact of her Government throughout her tenure. She reeled out all the free healthcare services and medication that the medical team was ready to dispense to the people, urging them to troop out to receive the medical benevolence of her administration, which would have otherwise cost them a fortune!
The freely delivered medical services include the following and more:
Renal Screening where medical experts checked the patients’ kidneys for proper functionality and diagnose any ailments there for proper treatment.
Tuberculosis Screening was carried out where medical experts conducted screening of the lungs with a view to detecting infections of the lungs such as Tuberculosis.

…and for most of the diagnosis detected, drugs were dispensed FREE OF CHARGE for adequate corrective measures.
At the end of the 3-day free medical services, thousands of citizens of Agboyi-Ketu got treated for their various ailments. Diagnoses were made for chronic diseases and treatments commenced forthwith! And the end result? Agboyi-Ketu becomes a community of healthy people who are well-cared for and their health well maintained!
