LAGOS, NIGERIA — September 26, 2026: The
management of GHOST AND SPIRITS, Ekoro Road, Abule-Egba, Lagos has offered a ₦5 million reward for credible information leading to the identification and apprehension of suspected armed robbers who have allegedly targeted customers leaving the establishment.
The reward follows a fresh robbery reportedly involving customers outside the premises in the early hours of today, Saturday, September 26, 2026, at about 4:00 a.m.
Management stressed that the reported attacks occurred outside the lounge and not inside GHOST AND SPIRITS.
EARLIER ATTACK
About six months ago, a group of suspected armed robbers reportedly attacked customers outside GHOST AND SPIRITS as they were leaving the premises and heading home.
The suspects allegedly dispossessed victims of cash, mobile phones, a Cuban gold chain and other personal belongings.
According to the account provided by management, one of the victims was reportedly shot after his belongings had been taken. The victim survived the shooting and has since recovered.
The incident was reported to the police, who, according to management, indicated that investigations and intelligence gathering were underway.
Management said, however, that it did not receive any further update on the investigation before the latest incident.
OTHER ROBBERY REPORTS IN EKORO
About three months ago, separate victims also reportedly reported being robbed at other locations within Ekoro.
Those incidents, however, occurred away from GHOST AND SPIRITS and were not attacks inside or on the premises of the establishment.
The reports have nevertheless contributed to growing concerns about robbery incidents in parts of the Ekoro axis, particularly during the early hours of the morning.
FRESH ATTACK AT ABOUT 4:00 A.M.
In the latest incident, customers leaving GHOST AND SPIRITS were reportedly attacked outside the premises at approximately 4:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 26, 2026.
One customer was allegedly dispossessed of a Cuban chain and other personal belongings during the attack.
The incident was captured by the establishment’s CCTV cameras, which reportedly recorded movements before, during and after the incident.
According to management, CCTV footage showed one individual allegedly arriving in the area before the others and appearing to check the surroundings.
Subsequent footage reportedly showed other individuals arriving before the attack took place. Based on the sequence of events captured on camera, the first individual was subsequently suspected of being connected to the group.
However, the vehicle registration number was reportedly not captured by the CCTV cameras.
POSSIBLE LINK TO EARLIER ATTACK
Following a review of the available CCTV footage, management said it had observed similarities between the latest incident and the attack reported approximately six months ago.
These similarities have led management to suspect that the same group involved in the earlier incident may have returned to the area.
However, the identities of the individuals involved, as well as their respective roles in the alleged attacks, remain subject to investigation and confirmation by the relevant security authorities.
Management has therefore urged members of the public not to draw conclusions about the identity of any individual based solely on the CCTV footage.
₦5 MILLION REWARD
In response to the repeated security concerns, the management of GHOST AND SPIRITS is offering a ₦5,000,000 (Five Million Naira) reward for credible information that directly assists security agencies in identifying and apprehending the suspected robbers.
Anyone who recognises any of the individuals captured in the CCTV footage, or who possesses credible information about their identities, movements or whereabouts, is encouraged to contact the management or the appropriate security authorities.

Management has strongly advised members of the public not to confront or attempt to apprehend anyone they suspect of involvement in the reported robberies.
Instead, any useful information should be passed discreetly to the police, other appropriate security agencies or the management of GHOST AND SPIRITS.
The management is appealing to residents, customers, business owners, transport operators and other members of the public within the Abule-Egba/Ekoro axis to assist the authorities with credible information that could help identify and apprehend those responsible for the reported attacks.
The ₦5 million reward is specifically for credible information that directly assists in the identification and apprehension of the suspected robbers.
