The Lagos State Government has announced a postponement of the planned traffic diversion and repair works on the Ogudu–Oworonshoki Bridge.
Commissioner for Transportation, Mr. Oluwaseun Osiyemi, made the announcement on Friday in a statement issued to journalists, noting that a new date for the commencement of the project will be communicated in due course.
Osiyemi assured residents that the delay is part of efforts to ensure public safety and minimize disruptions during infrastructure upgrades.
He reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to efficient project execution and the well-being of all road users.
