Sunday Adeyemi popularly known as Sunday Igboho, a frontline activist and estranged Yoruba nation, on August 4, 2021 be seeking a court order restraining the Federal Government from further blocking his bank accounts.
The legal request follows an order of interim injunction proposed by his legal team at an Oyo State High Court. This injunction prevents the Attorney General of the Federation (AGF) and the Department of State Security Service (DSS) from further breach of his fundamental human rights.
It would be recalled that Sunday Igboho had filed an earlier motion which sought to declare the invasion of his Ibadan residence by operatives of the security agencies illegal as well as restraining another further action in that regards. It also seek to claim a N500 billion damages for the invasion.
