The sad news of the demise of Anointed Mother Reverend Agnes Foluke Adeonigbagbe (Nee Abimbola), the wife of the Spiritual Head of Celica Church of Christ has been announced. The Late Reverend Agnes, in addition to her episcopal office, was a trained teacher who rose to the position of a headmistress. The native of Oba-Ile in Olorunda Local Government of Osun State was aged 65 years old.
Until her death, she was a strong pillar of support to the growth of her clergy husband’s church. For instance, she headed the Grand Command of Order Prophets & Prophetess (GCOP), the Head of Women Administration in the Church Worldwide, President of Good Women Society, Chief Adviser of Peace Spiritual Group. She was the rallying point for women in the church.
Having enjoyed a blissful union of 40 years with her husband, their marriage has been blessed with children and grandchildren. Not to mention several spiritual children. A woman of irresistible vim, she stood shoulder to shoulder on all pastoral and evangelistic missions leading up to the establishment of the Celica Church of Christ.
Mama Celica was a woman of prayer, a dedicated preacher of the word, a teacher, and a gallant soldier of Christ till she heeded the eternal call.
