
The President, Yoruba Council of Youths Worldwide and an Aspirant running under the banner of Peoples Democratic Party for the Lagos East Senatorial Bye-Election 2020, has sent his condolences to the family, friends and associates of Pa Ayò Fasanmi, a leading light and great leader of the Yoruba race. Pa Ayo Fasanmi, one of the Leaders of Afenifere passed on to the great beyond at his Oshogbo residence.
Aare Hassan prayed for the departed soul’s eternal rest and commiserated with the entire Yoruba race and Nigerians, urging them to bear the great loss with fortitude. Hassan also eulogized Fasanmi’s landmark achievements and qualities as an epitome of a great Omoluabi.
He said, “Papa was indeed a colossus and an enigma of peace, whose passion and love for the Yoruba race and Nigeria remain indelible in the sands of time.”
He also called on all youths to emulate Papa’s mentorship qualities and untainted virtuousness.
In the same vein, Barrister Oladotun Hassan felicitated with the good people of Lagos East Senatorial District, Lagosians, Yoruba Land and Nigeria at large on the Eid-el-Kabir celebration, while imploring Nigerians to emulate the teachings of Prophet Abraham’s sacrifice, peace and love.
He urged all to jointly “calm down” to rebuild and strategically plan ahead for a greater Nigeria.
