Babatunde Olalere Gbadamosi (Born October 15, 1967), is a Nigerian businessman, real estate developer and politician. He is the Chairman/CEO of Redbrick Homes International Limited, the renowned developers of the iconic Amen Estate, Ibeju Lekki, in the Eastern part of Lagos State. Gbadamosi is also renowned as a staunch member of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, and erstwhile Gubernatorial Candidate of the Action Democratic Party in the last elections.
Gbadamosi has been a vociferous critic of the APC-led Government in Lagos State and has never minced words on what he believes is the best way to govern Lagos State. In the wake of the battle against the Covid-19 pandemic in the state, Gbadamosi has always provided alternative approach to the way the battle is being prosecuted. In his usual candour, Gbadamosi has again written an open letter to the Lagos State authorities on this and other issues. We present the Open Letter verbatim:
OPEN LETTER TO LAGOS STATE GOVERNMENT
Dear Lagos State Government,
You’re over-milking this Covid19 issue. If you’re SERIOUS about it, then you’ll follow the advice I gave months ago to save all Lagosians, and focus on the business of fixing Lagos.
Instead, it’s modelling and photo-ops galore while the 4th largest economy in West Africa (yes, since this administration started, that’s how far we’ve fallen) falls into ruin on your watch.
Order container-loads of Hydroxychloroquine, Zinc-sulphate & Azithromycin from the pharmaceutical companies, now that it’s obvious that the arguments against them were completely false and motivated purely by profit and profit only for Big Pharma.
Distribute to all pharmacies in Lagos State, free, and let doctors prescribe the Hydroxychloroquine Protocol to people who report symptoms early, to aid recovery without hospitalisation, reducing the strain on our health budget.
End the lockdown and reopen the economy.
