“Ọ̀pẹ̀kẹ̀tẹ̀ ń dàgbà, inú adámọ̀ ń bàjẹ́.”…As the young palm tree grows taller, the heart of the one who can not reach it becomes troubled. Some people become bitter when they see others progressing beyond their expectations, not because your success is wrong, but because your growth reminds them of where they are yet to reach. Don’t reduce yourself just to make others comfortable. Keep growing, keep shining, and keep becoming better;(your progress is not a sin). Let your success speak for your hard work while you remain humble enough not to be distracted by those who are unhappy with your elevation.
