LAPO Microfinance Bank has received a Recognition Award from the Office of the Special Adviser on Climate Change and Circular Economy, Lagos State, at the closing ceremony of the Climate Finance Preparedness Clinic (CFPC) 2026, held as part of the Climate Finance Leadership and Recognition Night.
The event, which brought together key stakeholders including government officials, regulators, development finance institutions, financial institutions, investors, corporate executives, and sustainability leaders, provided a platform for strategic conversations, partnerships, and initiatives aimed at strengthening Nigeria’s climate finance ecosystem.
The recognition acknowledged LAPO Microfinance Bank’s continued efforts in advancing sustainability, expanding access to climate finance, and supporting climate resilience through innovative financial solutions that empower underserved communities, entrepreneurs, and small businesses.
