“Agidi malaja, awo Ilé Ifẹ̀; awo ni ń gbé awo ní ìgbọ̀nwọ́.”…. This timeless Yoruba proverb reminds us that true strength lies in unity and mutual support. In our relationships, families, friendships, and communities, we flourish when we lift one another instead of pulling each other down. A helping hand, a kind word, or genuine encouragement can make all the difference in someone’s journey. As Yoruba says, “Awo ni ń gbé awo ní ìgbọ̀nwọ́”….members support one another. When we stand together, we overcome challenges, build stronger bonds, and create a community where everyone can thrive.
