The Executive Chairman of Onigbongbo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Moyosore Adebanjo, attended the official commissioning of the Opebi–Mende–Ojota Link Bridge, a landmark infrastructure project set to significantly enhance connectivity and ease traffic flow within the axis and beyond.
The historic commissioning ceremony was performed by His Excellency, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, who was ably represented by the Senate President, Sen. Godswill Akpabio.
This project is expected to reduce travel time, decongest major routes, and improve the overall quality of life for residents and commuters within Lagos State.
Hon. Moyosore Adebanjo commended the governor of Lagos state, His Excellency Mr. Babajide Sanwo-olu for his visionary leadership and bringing development to Onigbongbo LCDA, he further assured the Governor to take ownership as the host LCDA
The chairman described the bridge as a strategic intervention that will foster socio-economic development across adjoining communities, including Onigbongbo LCDA.
The event was graced by top government functionaries, political leaders, and key stakeholders, all of whom lauded the project as a symbol of purposeful governance and infrastructural excellence.
