The Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, has apologised to Nigerians over the recent wave of electricity outages across the country, assuring that efforts are underway to address the situation.
Adelabu acknowledged the challenges facing the power sector and expressed regret over the disruptions experienced by households and businesses.
He stated that measures have been put in place to reverse the trend and improve electricity supply nationwide.
The minister further assured Nigerians that there would be noticeable improvement in power supply within the next few weeks as interventions begin to take effect.
Details of the planned measures are expected to be released subsequently.
