The moment news broke that Hon. Adetola Adunni Abubakar; Chairman of Agboyi-Ketu LCDA declared 1,000 free JAMB forms, the youths of Agboyi-Ketu were all full of excitement and anticipation hoping to be among the selected thousand. And knowing that the JAMB forms will indeed be delivered!
On Wednesday February 18 and Thursday February 19 2026, the multipurpose hall of the LCDA Secretariat was a beehive! Youths of Agboyi-Ketu; all Secondary School leavers thronged the venue of the screening exercise to get on the train for the free JAMB forms that the mother of Agboyi-Ketu had provided for them. Each student armed with their NIN, Student Profile Code, LASSRA Card and SSCE Results faced a panel of seasoned education administrators for a screening exercise to determine the eligibles.

This Free 1,000 JAMB Forms project is only the first edition. The Executive Chairman of Agboyi-Ketu; Hon. Adetola Abubakar is set to make this an annual project! As her administration continues to deliver dividends democracy, it is crystal clear that Education continues be the biggest beneficiary sector! Just half a year into her administration, initiatives under Abubakar’s 8-Point Agenda are all gaining traction, education being the most impacted! From 300 GCE forms to Spelling Bee Competition to Back-to-School Boost to various interactive sessions with students and teachers, the Chairman continues to take giant strides in the advancement of the Education Sector in Agboyi-Ketu LCDA.
…and this 1,000 JAMB forms project is the biggest of them all!

As students from all corners of the LCDA troop into the venue of the screening exercise, the feeling is that of a potpourri of faith, hope and joy! Faith in the leadership of Adetola Adunni Abubakar to guide them into excellence in life. Hope for a bright future as they take advantage of the many youth-oriented programmes of the administration. And the joy of a gift directed towards their pursuit of higher education.
At the end of the exercise, the panel delivered their verdicts in qualifying the 1,000 and the students were all happy as their JAMB forms were delivered to them.

As for the song in the heart every Agboyi-Ketu youth that participated in the programme… Your guess is as good as mine; “University here I come”!
