Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has congratulated Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on the occasion of his 40th birthday, describing him as an industrious, compassionate, and visionary young Nigerian who continues to inspire his generation through philanthropy and empowerment.
In a statement issued on Monday by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr. Gboyega Akosile, the governor commended Seyi Tinubu for his numerous contributions to national development, particularly in areas that promote youth advancement, entrepreneurship, and community upliftment.
“On behalf of my family, the government, and the people of Lagos State, I extend my warmest congratulations to Seyi Tinubu, the son of our leader, President Bola Tinubu, on his 40th birthday,” the statement read.
Governor Sanwo-Olu described the milestone as a moment for reflection on Seyi Tinubu’s positive impact on society, noting that his leadership and charitable initiatives have touched countless lives across Nigeria.
“Seyi Tinubu’s journey so far reflects courage, discipline, and a deep sense of service,” the governor said. “He has consistently demonstrated a commitment to uplifting others through impactful programmes that empower young people and promote innovation.”
The Lagos governor prayed for continued blessings, wisdom, and good health for the celebrant, expressing optimism that the next phase of his life would bring greater achievements and broader influence.
“As he steps into a new decade, may his path be marked by deeper impact, divine grace, and fulfilment in service to humanity,” Sanwo-Olu added.
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu had on Sunday also celebrated his son’s birthday, describing Seyi as a “focused, courageous, and humble man” who continues to make his family and the nation proud.
In a personal statement, the President praised his son’s leadership qualities, determination, and unwavering commitment to building and uplifting others, urging him to remain steadfast in his service to humanity and the nation.
