Former Presidents Olusegun Obasanjo and Goodluck Jonathan will on Tuesday join other dignitaries to unveil the Care365 Health Hub, a healthcare innovation chaired by former Head of State, General Abdulsalami Abubakar.
The launch, scheduled to hold at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre, will showcase what organisers describe as a transformative solution designed to expand access to quality healthcare in Nigeria.
According to a statement on Saturday by the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Care365, Ngozi Odumuko, the hub introduces four pioneering products aimed at revolutionising healthcare delivery. These include the Care365 Health Monitoring Kiosk, a smart self-service device for instant checks such as blood pressure, blood sugar, BMI, and oxygen levels; the Care365 Mobile Clinic, a flexible solution targeting underserved and remote communities; and the Care365 Telemedicine Mobile and Web App, which offers virtual consultations, e-prescriptions, referrals, and digital health record management.
Another innovation is the Specialist Doctors Pool, a network of top medical professionals from the United States, Europe, Canada, Asia, and Nigeria, designed to provide global-standard expertise locally.
At the event, Jonathan will serve as Guest of Honour, Obasanjo will chair the occasion, while the Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Prof. Muhammad Ali Pate, is expected to formally unveil the innovations.
Other high-profile attendees include the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike; state governors; cabinet ministers; leaders of the organised private sector; members of the international community; as well as CEOs and captains of industries from the banking, oil and gas, telecoms, and insurance sectors.
General Abubakar, who is Chief Host and Chairman of the Care365 Health Hub, expressed optimism that the initiative would “bridge critical gaps in healthcare delivery and ensure more Nigerians have access to affordable, reliable, and world-class medical services.”
