In an unprecedented feat, Omisope Olaniyi, popularly known as Baba Omi, Head of Programs at Guts 104.9FM, is set to attempt the Guinness World Record for the Longest Continuous Radio Show, 160hrs.
In a post made available on the official Social Media handles of the radio station, reads “Guts 104.9FM is Making History! We are thrilled to announce that our very own Head of Programs, Omisope Olaniyi BABA OMI , is taking on an incredible challenge—attempting to break the Guinness World Record for the Longest Continuous Radio broadcast!
The ground breaking event is scheduled to kick off between 22nd June to 28th June 2025.
BABA OMI is a broadcast veteran whose educative and intriguing radio contents cuts across shaping the society and the nation in general for over two decades and he is set to become a force for the whole world to reckon with.
When contacted by our correspondent, he vividly shared an insight into what emanated into the need to actualize this idea.
