The Executive Chairman of Onigbongbo LCDA, Hon. Moyosore Adebanjo, met with the leadership of the Ward Health Committee led by Mr. Idowu Samson, who opened the meeting with a prayer and brief introduction.
The Committee leaders
commended the Chairman’s fatherly role and timely responses to health-related matters and pledged their full support to his administration.
They reaffirmed their primary responsibility of ensuring access to quality healthcare at the grassroots, but highlighted pressing needs which include better staff strength, improved healthcare facilities and upgraded furniture. Others are alternative energy source, solid water facilities in Olusosun and Greater recognition during festive periods.
According to a statement made available by the Chief Press Secretary to the Chairman, Mr. Fashina Olaoluwa, Hon. Moyosore expressed gratitude for the dedication of the committee leaders and members and reaffirmed that his administration is committed to transforming the healthcare system within six months. He promised to work hand in hand with health officers to improve welfare, enhance supply of drugs through partnerships with relevant agencies, promote a 24-hour healthcare system and address manpower shortages by engaging more doctors and nurses.
The Chairman assured the committee that healthcare remains a top priority of his administration and promised sustained support and collaboration for a healthier Onigbongbo community.
