In continuation of his amazing international humanitarian activities, Prophet TB Joshua, renowned global televangelist has donated the sum of $30,000 (thirty thousand dollars) to the Israel-based Galilee Medical Center, the largest hospital in the Galilee Region of Northern Israel to help fight the Covid-19 pandemic. The National Universities Commission (NUC), which has the statutory mandate to accredit academic programmes in all Nigerian Universities, has given full (100%) accreditation to all the academic programmes being run by the Faculty of Law, Faculty of Dentistry, Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences, Faculty of Social Sciences and Faculty of Science of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. After several years, the long arm of justice finally caught up with Yinusa Dahiru, the man who abducted teenager, Ese Oruru and forced her into marriage. Today, Thursday, a  Federal High Court sitting in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State sentenced Dahiru to 26-year imprisonment. It would be recalled that then 13 years old Ese Oruru was abducted by Dahiru on the 12th of August 2015 at her mother’s shop in Yenagoa and taken to Kano, where, the court ruled, she was raped, forcibly Islamized and married off without her parents’ consent.
