26th August 2025 By Peter Omopo A major disaster was on Monday averted after operatives of the Oyo State Fire Service prevented a fuel tanker laden with Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) from exploding on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway. The tanker, carrying 26 tonnes of LPG, was involved in a solo accident near the Sat Guru Maharaj area, close to the Ibadan end of the former toll plaza.
