There are strong indications that Taliban insurgents have invaded the ancient city of Kabul. This unprecedented happening caused chaotic and widespread fears among residents of the Afghanistan town bringing about an almost immediate end of the incumbent Afghanistan government and over two-decades of the presence of the American military in the Arab country. It was learnt that the first man of the conquered territory of Afghanistan, President Ashraf Ghani is at large leaving room for a high-powered delegation of his government to broker a truce deal with the Taliban fighters.
While the Afghan government is working round the clock to salvage what is left of their country, the U.S has risen to the occasion by evacuating her serving diplomats and civilian and thousands stranded at the Kabul desperately seeking to be emigrated from the war-torn country.
The Biden administration have been strongly criticized by the Legislature for the ineptitude of the intelligence community, seeking to know how long it will take before the U.S military at the airport is overwhelmed by the rampaging Taliban fighters.
