LATE MORRIS CERULLO TB JOSHUA
Prophet TB Joshua, world renowned televangelist has joined the Christian world in mourning the passing of Popular American cleric, Morris Cerullo.
In a statement from the Lagos Headquarters of Joshua’s Synagogue Church of All Nations, SCOAN, Prophet T.B. Joshua expressed sadness at the passing of one of the great evangelists to have come out of America, a man considered as God’s True General. The official statement from TB Joshua reads:
“On Saturday 11th July 2020, God’s General Dr Morris Cerullo was called home to eternal glory as a citizen of Heaven. As Philippians 3:20-21 says, “But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Saviour from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body.†The legacy of Dr Morris Cerullo will forever live on in the hearts of believers worldwide, especially the millions who came to knowledge of the saving grace through his ministry.
Raised in an Orthodox Jewish orphanage, Morris had received a divine call to preach when he was only 15 years old. From then on, he dedicated his life to ministering healing and salvation to the nations for over 70 years. As a prayer saint, Dr Cerullo devoted his life to the service of God and his legacy teaches the world the power of prayer. In his words, “Prayer is the most powerful force upon the earth.â€

Meanwhile the Christian world is still celebrating Cerullo for his acclaimed steadfastness and dedication to his calling in a career that spanned decades.
Morris Cerullo was known worldwide as an American Pentecostal Evangelist. Born on October 2, 1931, he traveled extensively around the world for his ministry. He was also the host of Victory Today, a daily television program beamed worldwide. He also authored and published more than 80 books.
Morris Cerullo died on July 10, 2020, aged 88 and is survived by his long-term Spouse Theresa (m.1951) and their Children, David (b. 1952), Susan (b. 1954) and Mark (b. 1957–1993).
