Abuja, July 1, 2025 — Senator Agom Jarigbe, representing Cross River North Senatorial District, has announced a temporary withdrawal from legislative and constituency responsibilities due to health challenges.
In a statement released on Monday, the lawmaker revealed that he is currently undergoing medical treatment and will be stepping back from public engagements on the advice of his doctors.
“This is a necessary pause, and I am receiving proper medical attention. God willing, I expect to fully resume my responsibilities within the next two weeks or even sooner,” Jarigbe said.
As a result of his temporary absence, a planned endorsement rally in his constituency has been postponed until further notice.
Jarigbe assured constituents that the decision was made in the interest of ensuring effective representation and expressed optimism about making a full recovery soon.
