Today, the town of Iwo bid a solemn farewell to one of its most cherished sons, as the remains of renowned comedian and Nollywood actor, Sisi Quadri, were laid to rest. Quadri, whose comedic brilliance and memorable performances endeared him to audiences nationwide, passed away on March 1 at the Ladoke Akintola University Hospital in Ogbomoso.

A Massive Crowd Welcomed the Remains to Iwo

A massive crowd gathered to pay their respects and honor the memory of Quadri as his funeral procession wound through the streets of Iwo. Despite the somber atmosphere, there was a palpable sense of gratitude for the joy and laughter he had brought to countless lives.

Quadri, known for his iconic roles in numerous Nollywood films and his stand-up comedy acts, was celebrated not only for his talent but also for his warmth and generosity. His passing has left a void in the entertainment industry and in the hearts of his fans across Nigeria.

At the graveside, prayers were offered for the repose of Quadri’s soul, and tributes poured in from friends, family, and admirers, who fondly recalled his infectious laughter and larger-than-life personality. Though Quadri may have left this world, his legacy as a comedic legend and beloved cultural icon will endure for generations to come.
