The Executive Chairman of Onigbongbo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Moyosore Adebanjo, hosted the inaugural meeting of Lagos State Majority Leaders’ Forum.
Leaders from all Local Government Areas (LGAs) and Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs) in Lagos State were present in the meeting.
Hon. Moyosore expressed delight at receiving the lawmakers. He maintained that hosting the historic first meeting of the forum is significant for his council.
According to a statement made available by the Chief Press Secretary of the Chairman, Mr. Fashina Olaoluwa; the chairman said, “This inaugural gathering in Onigbongbo only emphasizes the fact that we are part of the people, we believe in the House, we are approachable, and the desires of our people can always be taken care of.”
Hon. Moyosore acknowledged Hon. David Orukpe, the Majority leader for Onigbongbo Local Council, and recognised other majority leaders present. He revealed with pride that many of them had been part of the political struggle together in the past.
He praised their growth and resilience over the years and stressed the importance of unity and shared commitment to governance.
Hon. Moyosore also charged all Majority Leaders to remain steadfast in their roles and foster stronger collaboration with their respective executive arms of government.
In response, participants at the forum expressed appreciation to Hon. Moyosore for hosting them and commended his leadership and the remarkable developmental strides recorded in Onigbongbo LCDA so far under his leadership.
