One month ago, Hon. Moyosore Adebanjo assumed office as the Executive Chairman of Onigbongbo LCDA with a clear promise: to restore hope, build trust, and place the people at the heart of governance. Thirty days later, his words are already taking shape in action.
Water for Olusosun after 10 Years: For over a decade, residents of Olusosun grappled with a crippling water crisis. Within his first weeks in office, Hon. Moyosore took decisive steps to provide lasting relief bringing dignity and comfort back to families who had long been neglected.
Youth at the Centre of Development Ahead of International Youth Day 2025: He sat with youth representatives across Onigbongbo to co-develop ideas for empowerment, innovation, and sustainable inclusion. He also launched the Moyosore Onigbongbo Youth Championship Cup, rewarding teams, coaches, and referees — not just as a sporting event, but as a platform to foster unity, talent, and discipline.
Heard from Market Leaders (Iyaolojas & BabaOlojas) and Women Leaders across Wards A–F: Hon. Moyosore opened his doors to engagement. His message was clear: Onigbongbo cannot thrive without women at the forefront. He reaffirmed his commitment to their welfare, economic strength, and community leadership.
Security and Justice Strengthened: Understanding that no development can thrive without safety, Hon. Moyosore convened a Security Dialogue with the Lagos Neighbourhood Safety Corps (LNSC) and also established a healthy working relationship with the Commander of the 9th Brigade Cantonment, Brig. Gen. O.M. Oyekola, building strong security partnerships.
At the judicial level, his meeting with the Onigbongbo Customary Court reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening justice delivery, ensuring the law works for the people.
War Against Drug Abuse in a Landmark Move: Hon. Moyosore invited the NDLEA to Onigbongbo LCDA for a special sensitization program targeted at the youth, a clear demonstration of his proactive approach to combating drug abuse before it destroys the next generation.
Civic Responsibility Made Easier To encourage Civic Participation: The Chairman met with INEC officials to simplify voter registration processes. He went further by supplying the CVR committee with laptops and printers, ensuring residents of Onigbongbo can register with ease and speed.
Health and Economy in Focus: From reaffirming his commitment to transforming grassroots healthcare to engaging artisans on economic empowerment, Hon. Moyosore has shown that governance under his leadership will touch lives in practical ways. He has also championed excellence in revenue generation, ensuring the LCDA has the resources to deliver on its promises.
In just one month, Hon. Moyosore Adebanjo has turned vision into visible action.
