An experienced Nigerian-trained doctor based in the US, Dr. Stella Emmanuel is now trending worldwide for her principled, vociferous stand on the treatment regime against Covid-19.
In a viral video shot in Washington DC, she and her colleagues of various nationalities contended that, contrary to the position of powerful entities in the medical establishment, the treatment of the virus with Hydroxychloroquine, Zinc and Azithromycin (Zithromax) on more than 300 patients had been very successful with zero fatality. She dared the medical authorities to reconsider the present treatment regimes and the climate of fear surrounding the use of hydroxychloroquine in attacking the deadly disease due to its success in hundreds of patients she had treated. Below is one of her statements:
“Hello black and brown people! Wake up! I am a physician and black woman. I treat patients with Covid-19 and Hydroxychloroquine with zinc works. They get better in 24 hours. I have not lost a patient yet. My family and I take it for prevention. Many doctors and nurses take it. President Trump is right and talking to his supporters and they will all get on HCQ. Many of you will watch the media lie to you and not take it. It is not a dangerous drug. It has been around for 50 years. Please think! How can lupus patients take it twice a day for years with no heart issues and it’s all of a sudden dangerous for you and I. Don’t be deceived. 60% of Covid-19 deaths are black. You have heard the experts, the next wave will probably be more deadly. Please be wise and protect your family. Talk to your doctor. You have a right to live and not die.”

In what appears to be a bold daring move, DR. Stella Emmanuel told the world that she was not afraid of sanctions or even physical harm as she was more concerned about the safety of her patients. Such was her confidence in the anti-covid cocktail above that she asked prospective patients to visit her clinic. According to her, “If you don’t have a doctor contact my clinic and we will take care of you or direct you to a doctor in your state.”
Dr. Emmanuel was among the Medical professionals who attended the America’s Frontline Doctors Summit in front of the US Supreme Court in Washington, DC on Monday (July 27th). Many doctors had the opportunity to address the media and the US public about the country’s fight against COVID-19 and a few 9ther ailments. She spoke about current accepted virus treatment and the need to wear a mask.
Dr Stella Emmanuel’s video which quickly became viral talked about her experience and belief in the effectiveness of treating COVID-19 patients with hydroxychloroquine. This position is in contrast with the equally controversial safety issues posed by the all-powerful American FDA, which warns against the use of hydroxychloroquine or chloroquine to treat COVID-19 patients. The country’s NIH also took a similar position and stopped the clinical trial of the drug, determining that it had no benefits.
According to CNN reporter Oliver Darcy, the video was removed from Facebook after gaining more than 13 million views. A Facebook spokesperson said, “We removed this video to share false information about treatments and treatments for COVID-19. In the News Feed, we show messages to people who report, comment or share harmful information about COVID-19… †Darcy also confirmed that the video was removed by YouTube for violating community guidelines.
America’s Frontline Doctors Summit took place on July 27 and 28, and according to its website, it was to eliminate the “major disinformation campaign†about COVID-19 in the USA. It was organized by the Tea Party Patriots who described the event as follows: “Physicians from all over the country address Americans about the importance of Covid-19 and the reopening of schools and our society.â€
According to Facebook Emmanuel lives in Houston, Texas and is a doctor at the Rehoboth Medical Center in Houston. She is also a liberation minister and founder of the Fire Department. In the video from the summit, Emmanuel said, “We have not lost one after taking more than 350 patients in the past few months. Not diabetic, not someone with high blood pressure…”

She further asserts that in addition to this, she and her staff at the clinic and “many doctors that I know†are on hydroxychloroquine as a preventative measure. She says the medication works as a preventative drug, and despite seeing around a dozen patients each day and only wearing a surgical mask, none of them have gotten sick. She says, “I came here to Washington, D.C. to say: America, nobody needs to die.†Emmanuel says it’s upsetting to see people struggling to breathe and thinking that COVID-19 is a “death sentence.†She then says, “I hug them, and I tell them that it’s going to be okay you’re going to leave. And we treat them, and they leave. None have died.â€
She goes on to claim that it’s “fake science†to say hydroxychloroquine doesn’t work. “This virus has a cure,†she says. “It is called hydroxychloroquine, zinc, and zithromax.†Emmanuel also says that no one needs masks or to shut down schools because there is a cure.
This is not the first time Emmanuel would be making these claims about hydroxychloroquine. In the past few months, she gave information about using the drug to treat COVID-19. According to her tweet on July 17: “I refuse to be chained by false science. I have successfully treated over 250 COVID patients with HCQ, zpack and zinc. There is no death. All these double-blind studies sponsored by the great Phama are false science. â€
Meanwhile, Dr. Emmanuel’s bold stand is already creating a heated debate in the medical world.
