Today, the funeral rites for the former Governor of Yobe State, Bukar Abba Ibrahim, were solemnly observed as he was laid to rest in Saudi Arabia. The distinguished statesman passed away recently, leaving behind a legacy of dedicated service to his state and the nation as a whole.

The burial ceremony, held in accordance with Islamic rites, was attended by family members, friends, political associates, and well-wishers who gathered to pay their final respects to the late governor. The atmosphere was filled with grief and reverence as mourners bid farewell to a beloved leader and mentor.

A video capturing the poignant moments of the burial ceremony shows the somber procession as the late Governor Bukar Abba Ibrahim’s body was carried to its final resting place. The mourners, clad in traditional attire, offered prayers and recitations from the Holy Quran as a final tribute to the departed soul.

In a statement issued by the current Governor of Yobe State, Mai Mala Buni, Governor Ibrahim was eulogized as a statesman whose contributions to the development of Yobe State will always be remembered and cherished. Governor Buni expressed his condolences to the family of the deceased and prayed for Allah’s mercy and forgiveness upon the departed soul.
