FIFA has announced that ticket sales for the 2026 World Cup will begin this month, with prices ranging from $60 for group-stage matches to as high as $6,710 for the final.
The tournament, which will feature a record 48 teams, is scheduled to take place in the United States, Canada, and Mexico from June 11 to July 19, 2026.
According to a statement released on Wednesday, fans will be able to purchase single-game tickets, venue-specific passes, and team-specific packages, with prices fluctuating based on demand.
FIFA also confirmed that Visa cardholders can register for a FIFA ID on its official website to enter a presale draw running from September 10 to 19. Successful applicants will then be able to buy tickets starting October 1.
Sales will be capped at four tickets per person per match, with an overall limit of 40 tickets per individual for the tournament.
The global football body outlined a three-phase sales process:
- Phase One: September–October, covering presale and initial applications.
- Phase Two: October 27–31 registration, with sales between mid-November and early December.
- Phase Three: After the official tournament draw in Washington on December 5, allowing fans to apply for tickets to specific matches.
Ahead of kickoff, FIFA will also release remaining tickets on a first-come, first-served basis.
Additionally, the governing body will introduce supporter tickets for fans wishing to sit with fellow supporters of their national team, as well as conditional supporter tickets, which secure seats for potential knockout stage appearances. An official resale platform will also be launched for fans unable to use their tickets.
