Governor Bello Mohammed (Matawallen Maradun) has condoled the State Legislature and members of the family of late Hon. Tukur Jekada Birnin Tudu who died this afternoon.
Governor Matawalle expressed total submission to Almighty God upon the news of the sudden death of the Legislator who battled with an illness for nearly a month after a sudden collapse.
He described the demise of Hon. Tukur as a great loss to the state, to the Legislature and particularly his family who have supported his career for the benefit of democracy in the state.
He said the absence of Hon. Tukur would be felt by his colleagues and the entire machinery of government in the state especially with the positive contributions he was making to the enthronement of good governance for the benefit of his people who elected him and the state at large.

Governor Matawalle urged the family of the deceased to bear the loss with courage and prayed for God Almighty to have mercy upon his soul.
Late Hon. Tukur Jekada, a tested teacher and later a politician, was a Special Adviser to the PDP Government of Alhaji Mamuda Shinkafi and now elected as member representing Bakura constituency in the state Legislature under the present PDP administration of Governor Bello Mohammed.
Hon. Tukur Jekada died at the age of 65, leaving behind three wives and many children. May his soul rest in perfect peace, amin.
