Miami, USA – Nigerian Afrobeats superstar David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, and his wife, Chioma Rowland, have hosted an exclusive pre-wedding party in Miami, Florida, ahead of their highly anticipated white wedding.
The lavish gathering, which took place on Friday night, drew a star-studded guest list, including singers Teniola Apata (Teni), Adekunle Gold, and Zlatan Ibile, as well as entertainer Tunde Ednut.
Viral videos from the event showed the couple making a stylish entrance in coordinated outfits before mingling with guests. In one clip, Zlatan and Davido shared a playful moment, while another captured Teni, Adekunle Gold, and Tunde Ednut enjoying the vibrant atmosphere.
Davido and Chioma’s love story has been a rollercoaster. The singer proposed to Chioma in 2019, but their relationship hit turbulence in 2021 amid controversy. In October 2022, tragedy struck when they lost their first son, Ifeanyi, to a drowning incident at their Lagos home.
The couple tied the knot legally in March 2023, welcomed twins in the United States in October of the same year, and held a traditional wedding in Lagos in June 2024.
The Miami pre-wedding celebration marks another milestone in the lead-up to their white wedding, which is expected to be one of the most talked-about celebrity events of the year.
