A startling twist has been introduced to the recent incident at Top View Hotel in Abuja, where a woman narrowly escaped death during a hookup. New allegations have surfaced online.
A Netizen has claimed that the woman, previously unidentified, is actually a married woman from Enugu known as Mama Ngozi.
The Netizen, who expressed surprise on social media, revealed that people had always believed Mama Ngozi’s frequent trips to Abuja were for legitimate business purposes. However, it is now alleged by the Netizen that she has been engaging in prostitution during these trips. The Netizen wondered what she would do should her husband get wind of the scandal.

This revelation has sparked a flurry of reactions online, with many expressing shock and disbelief. Note however that the authorities have yet to confirm these allegations, and investigations into the incident at Top View Hotel are ongoing.
Background to the Top View Hotel Incident
Joseph Efe, a young man, was recently apprehended after a disturbing video went viral, showing him tying up a half-naked woman with cello tape at the Top View Hotel in Abuja. The victim, believed to be a sex worker, has shared her harrowing experience.
According to a report by PM News, the woman recounted that she met Efe through a hookup platform several months ago. She mentioned that she is from Enugu but frequently visits Abuja for business. On the day of the incident, she had arranged to meet Efe at the Top View Hotel.
Upon her arrival, Efe’s behavior quickly turned threatening. She stated, “When I got to the hotel, the suspect asked me whether I feared death. He said if I cooperated with him, he would not hurt me like other girls. I pleaded with him. He slapped me and asked me to strip my clothes. I tried to get to the door, but it was locked, and he held the keys.”
The viral video showed Efe restraining the woman, leading to widespread speculation on social media that he intended to kill her and use her body parts for ritual purposes. However, Efe has denied these allegations. While being paraded by the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) in Abuja, Efe claimed that he is a thief, not a ritualist, and insisted that he has never killed anyone before.
