The former Governor of Oyo State and a National Vice Chairman of the ruling APC, Abiola Ajimobi has reportedly succumbed to Covid-19. The story has sparked a lot of controversy but his media aide, Bolaji Tunji has reportedly debunked it as mere rumour.
It would be recalled that the politician had been under admission at an undisclosed hospital and was even reported by some media outlets to have slipped into a coma last week.
If true, his “death” would make him another of many powerful Nigerians that have been claimed by the Coronavirus pandemic.
