The Federal Road Safety Corps on Saturday said four lives were lost in multiple road accidents that occurred in Ikeji-Arakeji, a town along the Ilesa/Akure expressway in Osun State. Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, on Friday unveiled 31 newly purchased tractors for the use of farmers in the state to boost food production. Men from Zone 16 of the Nigeria Police Force have arrested a fake medical doctor, Doubara Esamasuode, operating without a licence in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State. More than 200 families who resided in Nuwalege, a rural community along the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Road in Abuja, have been reportedly rendered homeless, following the demolition of their homes to accommodate an extension of the Presidential Air Fleet. The Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, has clarified that electricity consumers who get free prepaid meters will have up to 10 years to repay the cost. Adelabu’s statement contradicts claims that customers who pay for meters would be refunded through energy credit.
