The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has rejected the presidential and parliamentary election results being announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC. Senator Dino Melaye, the senator representing Kogi West, has challenged Sahara Reporters to release the source of the unofficial election results that formed the basis of a report that is live on their website. Bangladeshi Security forces foiled a hijack attempt on flight BG147 by a 25-year-old man on Sunday. All passengers on board the Bangladesh Biman plane which was bound for Dubai from Dhaka plane are safe. “We have successfully rescued everyone,” said Air Vice Marshall Mofid, after security forces stormed the plane and arrested the man.
