In a symbolic show of their commitment to the security of the Southwest region of Nigeria, Members of the Oyo State House of Assembly today passed the Oyo State Security Network Agency Bill 2020 codenamed Operation Amotekun. Part of the highlights of this epochal event was the interesting uniform attires of the members who donned dresses made of leopard prints and colours. The Federal Ministry of Health has confirmed the first case of the Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Nigeria. Dr. Osagie Ehanire, Minister of Health, confirmed the case in a statement a few hours ago. According to him, the infected individual is an Italian citizen working in Nigeria and who returned from Milan, Italy on the 25th of February 2020. The Italian tested positive at the Virology Laboratory of the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, part of the Laboratory Network of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
