Jimoh Aliu, MFR, popular dramatist and film maker of the traditional Yoruba and historical genre died this morning. Renowned as Àwòrò, Aliu was pronounced dead at the Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital at Aro Ekiti. Just about a month shy of his 81st birthday, (born November 11, 1939) Jimoh Aliu was also noted sculptor, playwright and director.
